Hey this is cool! I do have a few suggestions tho! When the chorus comes in, I suggest adding a melody line instead of it just being chords. The percussion is pretty well done, great job there, although it gets a little repetitive after a while.

I don’t suggest using the chromatic scale mixed in with the main chorus, it is pretty dissonant. Although, for the most part it’s pretty accurate to the original song.

When you are looking for samples/a soundfont from mother, i totally suggest looking up “The Ultimate Earthbound Soundfont” (i think thats what its called) and also download the software called “sforzando.” Its a great software for this kind of stuff and you just gotta plop .sf2 files when you set it up. Idk what DAW u used here, but if ur on windows and u need smth free I suggest Soundtrap, and if u have a budget then probably Abelton would be a good way to go. Great job overall, just a few suggestions.
